ADMISSIONS ARE IN PROGRESS FOR 2013-14 ACADEMIC YEAR:

The admissions are open for regular courses in Hotel Management as follows:
Bachelor of Hotel Management & Catering Technology – 3 years course.
Eligibility : +2 pass
Intermediate – Vocational in Hotel Operations/Tourism & Travel – 2 year course.
Eligibility : SSC Pass
Certificate Course in Food Production – 18 months course.
Eligibility : SSC Pass

Leo Academy has conducted one batch of free Skill Development Programme i.e. Hunar Se Rozgar Tak on behalf of Leonia – Group of Hotels from 23rd January 2013 for a period of Six weeks and Eight weeks in F & B Service, Housekeeping and Food Production respectively.  The Scheme is sponsored by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India through Institute of Hotel Management, Hyderabad.  The next batch will be commenced from 1st May 2013

APPROVED AS A STUDY CENTRE 

Happy to announce that the Leo Academy of Hospitality & Tourism Management (LAHTM) has been approved as a Study Centre by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh for conducting Distance Educational Programmes as detailed below for the Academic Year 2012-13 onwards.

1.  Bachelor of Hotel Management – 3 year
Eligibility : 10+2 pass (or) fail under Open University system with entrance test
2.  P.G. Diploma in Tourism & Travel Management – 1 year
Eligibility : Pass in any Degree
3.  P.G. Diploma in Hotel Management – 1 year
Eligibility : Pass in any Degree
4.  Diploma in Food Production – 1 year
Eligibility : SSC Pass
5.  Certificate Course in Hotel Housekeeping – 6 months
Eligibility : SSC Pass
The last date for receipt of applications at the Academy is 15th March 2013

Student Development Programme (SDP)

The Student Development Programme is being organised for the Leo Academy students on every Thursday to share the experience of Hospitality Industry by the Head of Departments with the Academy Students to create a closer linkage between the Industry and Students of Leo Academy.

The Head of Departments & Managers to train and coach the students in the academy and have the faculty also closely link with the operations to keep themselves up to date for relevant inputs to the students.

Leo Academy students are also being deputed to watch and participate during live operations in the core departments i.e. Food Production, F & B Service, Front Office, Housekeeping and event managements.
