What is “Hunar Se Rozgar”? →

The Ministry of Tourism has launched Skill Development Program called “HUNAR SE ROZGAR” under the scheme of “Capacity Building for Service Providers”, as a part of the Suo-Motu initiatives.

Effective from 1st April 2016, the program is aimed for students with no financial means to acquire skills facilitative to employment.

Multi Cuisine Cook →
Education Qualification :Minimum 8th Grade Pass
Duration : 500+ 200 Hrs On Job training
Eligibility : 18 to 28 years
Stipend : Rs. 2000/-
Arranging for Food Resources Achieving customer satisfaction through Customer-centric Service
Maintaining Inventory Control Achieving customer satisfaction by displaying professional etiquettes
Ensuring Efficient use of Resources Services and facilities specific to age/ gender special needs
Directing kitchen helper for initial preparation IPR and Copyright
Cooking vegetarian and non-vegetarian food items Hygiene and Cleanness
Customizing food items as per consumer's requirements Safety standards and procedures and work hazards

Eligibility Criteria →
  • Attendance should be more than 80% of total hours
  • All applicants should be between 18 -28 years of age
  • Must have “Adhaar Linked” bank account

  • Passport Size pictures – 2
  • Adhaar Card (Attested copy)
  • Bank Passbook (Attested copy)

  • Students will be provided free Uniform, Food & Accommodation is provided
Guidelines →
  • Selection of students is purely based on eligibility criteria
  • Trainees with 90% of course specific attendance and above will be entitled to the payment of a one-time stipend
  • Trainees with 90% and above attendance only will be permitted to appear in end of the course test
  • Trainees who pass the test will be awarded the joint certificate of the NCHMCT & Implementing STDC
  • There is no application fee chargeable
  • Per batch a minimum of 20 trainees will be selected and if there more number of eligible candidates batches will be added
  • Graduate Level Degree or higher qualification students are not eligible for admission to the program
